Just wanted to know what can i run on my Macbook Pro that can check for issues or check for issues with performance

ONYX is a great program and is the preferred program of use here from what people have said. I use it. Be sure and download the correct version as it is OS Specific.

Well, Onyx is available on the Titanium Website - since, you did not provide specific information on your MBPro nor the OS installed, pay attention to the version you plan to download.

Also, 'fix the problems' is rather vague to say the least - please provide more specific details and maybe the members can be much more helpful.

And I hope that you have not tried 'other' programs, such as MacKeeper to solve your issues - thus, give us some history as to 'what' you have tried so far - good luck! Dave
