Hi,

I am using Sibelius Ultimate 2020.3 on an iMac.

I am trying to connect my Yamaha PSR-E313 YPT-310 (2007).

I have a Roland UM-ONE MK2 USB MIDI Interface and it works beautifully on my PC running Ubuntu Studio. I have been using it in conjunction with Rosegarden to record and play MIDI files. I transfer files to and fro my iMac using Dropbox.

I installed the Yamaha driver (USB-MIDI Driver V1.3.2-2 for Mac macOS 10.15-OS X 10.5 - Yamaha - Canada - English) but it did not work. The keyboard was still not recognized. I did not see the keyboard when I opened Audio MIDI Setup.

Any advice on what driver I should install?

It works perfectly on Ubuntu Studio, so all I need on my iMac is the right driver.

The Roland UM-ONE MK2 USB MIDI Interface has a USB end and I am able to successfully use it on my PC.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

SOLVED!

It turns out the right driver was the one for the Roland UM-ONE MK2 USB MIDI Interface, which is all that was needed:

UM-ONE MK2 DRIVER VER.1.0.3 FOR MACOS 10.15

Roland - Support - By Product

It works beautifully now!

I can easily input notes into Sibelius using my 61-key MIDI keyboard.
