trouble opening and running leopard on desktop

Hello, im currently running os x 10.4.11 and have managed to get leopard. This is now on my desktop. how do i open and run this operating system? i thought id just open it, click install and when it restarts WHAMOO but when it restarts all i get is a window with the network and macintosh hd symbols in and thats it (so hasnt done jack poo) obviously i am pretty thick and need your help please, thanks apple geniuses O:)

You can't legally download Leopard. It's a paid upgrade. You need to buy the Retail Install DVD (Black and purple DVD with a big silver X across it).

You can get it on eBay.

Pirated software is a danger to your machine. Do as suggested and lay out cash for a full retail install version.
