I'm trying to install Classic on an iBook G4. I want to use Classic to play some really old games, and this is really frustrating me. I've used the Additional Software and AHT disc and reinstalled with it countless times, and I've read all the Apple documentation out there, but to no avail. The System Folder appears, but it doesn't have an Orange 9 on it; hence, it is not recognized, and I cannot use Classic. I also don't have an OS 9 CD. What should I do?

Orange 9 - I dont get what you mean (edit: you mean in the start-up disk pane)

Have you got the original restore disks that came with your mac?

If I remember correctly, the OS 9 is on the Additional Software DVD for the iBook G4. If you want to remove that system folder, I believe that you can uninstall it from the Classic section of the System Preferences in OS X
