Trash to UBS Device

Hello
I moved to the trash all files belonging to another user on the MacBook. Is there a method to copy all the Trash to a USB device? That way I would at least saved those files for that user.

Move them from the trash to a folder. Copy the folder to the stick. Verify the copy.
Move the folder to the trash. Empty.
