I am trying to transfer files from my PC to the MAC via my cd writer. When I put the CD in the MAC I don't see any drive. Isn't it supposed to be on the desktop under the HD?

Are you making sure that the CD is a closed session....meaning the burn is finalized

That sounds like a tough challenge, isn't it easier to use SAMBA share methods? What are the file types? what directories are they coming from in pc and to in Mac?

The files are ar JPEG. I hooked up via a hub the Mac to the PC. I set the PC to share drive C. The pictures are in different folders in MY PICTURES and sub directory of Program Files. I can see Program Files from the MAC but when I click on hit to see the subfolders nothing happens on the MAC. I want to transfer all the subfolders with their folder name onto the MAC with the same folder names so that the IPhoto library contains all the pictures.
