SOLVED - Timeout/logout errors??? What's the workaround?

Hi,

I need help stopping this:

whenever I go away from my G5 machine for a while, whether it be overnight or an hour or two, and I have left an app running, there's always these errors:

1. logout timed out 'cos some app is still running,
2. The app can't quit to enable logout 'cos it's in the middle of something.

I've looked in energy/sys prefs and in my user acct for hints to stop my account from trying to always logout but can't find anything to help with this.

In the Security Preference there is the option to logout after "X" amount of time.

Thanks so much MacsWork...I didn't even think to check Security but it makes sense that it's more secure to have the Mac log me out if I leave it open and don't come back for a while.
