I have a 2013 Macbook pro, and it has few issues.
Nothing major, but still few things are bothering me.
Its searching for a bluetooth keyboard thats not exist, keep typing 1s by itself, and doesn't cut the power when lid is closed.
I would like to format the whole hard drive and restore it from Time Machine.

Since Time Machine backs up EVERYTHING, would it backs up and restores all those small errors too?

Most likely yes unless you were to restore from a backup prior to when the problem started.

What versions of OS X are you using? The problems may be solvable without a complete reinstall. I would try something like creating a new user first and see if the problem remains.

Agree with what Slydude mentioned...that the issue may be solvable without a complete reinstall. Try what Slydude suggested...and let us know the results.:)

Time Machine. See @slydude reply.

Phantom keyboard, what have you tried so far?

Sleep when closing lid (not cut power, that doesn't exist unless you have separate utility that does that). Are you using in clamshell mode? Did you ever connect another display to the Mac? If you did, it may not sleep, this is meant for external displays and if you want to use the Mac on that keyboard, mouse/trackpad, display with the lid closed - that is clamshell mode. Again what have you tried so far?

If that happens every day, may be its easier to fix.
Problem is that it happens whenever my macbook wants to.
I do not have any other external display or keyboard.
Whenever I have those issues, I just simply restart it, and it goes away for few days.

Try running the free maintenance App called "Onyx".

- Download
- Install
- Launch
- Click on the "Automation" button.
- Then click on "Execute" button.

Then let it do it's thing.:) Could take 10 minutes or more.

I'm not sure what the extra 1's are about but try the following to get rid of the Bluetooth keyboard search:

1. Go to System Preferences and open the Bluetooth pane.
2. Right click the device you want to get rid of and select Remove.

If the keyboard is not showing in the Bluetooth pane I'm not sure what's going on.
