i did a search on this, and the results weren't promising. My MBP has been 'preparing' to backup for more than 3 weeks now. i can't get it to stop, and turning the Time Machine off does absolutely nothing. I thought it might be because of torrents writing straight to another folder on the TC, so i stopped the torrents. nothing changed. every hour i get this line on my console:
10/4/08 2:33:41 PM com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.netauth.sysagent[14750]) Stray process with PGID equal to this dead job: PID 14753 PPID 1 check_afp
The PID number changes, but that string keeps coming up every hour...i don't know if that has anything to do with this but that's all i got...
any ideas??
