Time machine comes up with error

Time Machine displays an error message


The backup was not performed because an error occurred while coping files to the backup disk
The problem may be temp try again later, if problem persists try using disk utility!

I did a Disk Utility check and the report says all is well and also tried a repair ...all well too

Any Ideas

Sometimes you do get the "one time" failure ,.. this has happened because you had a file open and timemachine couldnt access it to back it up .. (rare .. but it has happened to me on occasion) .. If you get repeated failures even after a reboot, then I second the reformatting of your timemachine drive to correct the problem.
