Just purchased a MacBook Air. Was surprised to find no USB ports. What kind of adaptor should I purchase to allow me to connect to other devices?

Are all the ports Thunderbolt 4 or might some be USB-C?

For connecting regular USB-A devices, you just need a USB-C to USB Adapter. Apple makes one.

If you want to have multiple USB devices at one time or need to use an SD card, you'll need a hub. There are quite a lot of them out there. Here's one that OWC makes. The nice thing about this one is it can plug in between the power supply and your MacBook, so you charge the MBA through it. It also has an HDMI port if you have a need to hook to a TV set.

There are LOTS of other hubs out there that can take more than just a couple USB devices. It all depends on what your exact needs are.
