Crucial is the best place to get RAM, and so far is the best price I've found. I got a 256 MB stick, but I'm starting to see that it wasn't enough so I'm going to guy a 512 stick to replace it soon.I also agree that a Powerbook is going to last you longer in the end. They're not quite as drop-proof as the iBooks but they certainly are faster and have more options.I'm sort of in your boat, this is my first Mac as well. I've been a PC users for the past 10 years.
