Im pretty sure the only wait to join .vob files is a long process, use forty two dvd vxplus to convert to avi, then use an app like divx doctor 2 to convert to .mov, you can use those in most video editing apps, or if you have quicktime pro, you can do it that way.

Yeah, pretty messy. I'm using DVD2oneX which identifies the Title, no.1 in this case, which consists of 2 VOB files and it looks like it is joing and compressing at the same time... fingers crossed!
The best way to join VOB files on the Mac is D-Vision 3. It easily joins them, and has a sort button just to make sure they end up in the correct position. Grab it at Macupdate.com or anywhere else that has Mac shareware.
