Target Display Mode on Mojave

Hi there,

İ have a Mac mini 2014 and i mac 2013. i want to use i mac as i mac mini monitor. I bougth a mini display port cable. but after the high Sierra target display mode disabled.
İ can't find any solution for the problem. I don't want to use a extra monitor here.dont want to downgrade. maybe there is a third party program for this. does anyone help me please.

Target Display mode is really a short term answer to not having an extra monitor since it is largely driven by the OS and as such the iMac is running all the time and the functionality is marginal since you can't control anything. Again, as a short term things this works.

I went this route when I got my Mac Mini to replace my 2009 iMac until I bought the monitors. It worked for the month or so but definitely wasn't ideal.

Your ONLY choice is to downgrade back to High Sierra to use the iMac or the smarter choice here is to sell the 2013 iMac and buy a monitor instead.

My 2009 iMac easily covered the price of my new 2K monitor.
