The 2019 iMac has given me trouble since the day it was first purchased. A little over a year ago, I brought it into the Apple store due to many problems, including a nine (9) minute start-up time! They only reloaded the O/S and everything appeared OK, so I took it home but within several days it started exhibiting the same problems. I put up with it until I bought a new iMac earlier this month. My mistake – I should have immediately taken it back to the store. I didn't want my daughter to have the same issues that I had, so after I was all set up with my new iMac, I took the 2019 computer to the Apple store and made it clear that the O/S reload of the prior year didn't fix the problem and since it was still under Apple Care, I wanted it fixed. To make a long story short, Apple replaced quite a few parts, including the hard drive. When I got back from picking up the computer at the Apple store, I logged on with my credentials; this to confirm that it really was OK, and so far, it looks like it is properly fixed. Runs like a new machine. So, my issues are to transfer the Apple Care to my daughter and set her up as the new owner. Thanks for the help!
