I wonder if anyway has had anything like this problem. I have a powermac g5 (a bit old now but still doing its job). I need to get it running wireless internet so that I can move it. I got hold of an Airport extreme card, followed the instructions and fitted it, turned it on and the monitor and keyboard didn't come on. The monitor (not Apple) had the power light working but no display and the keyboard has a dongle with LEDs which didn't light. When I removed the card everything was back to normal but of course no wireless internet. Trying it again with everything unplugged made no difference. The only thing I've added since I bought it is memory (RAM and internal hard drive). I've tried resetting PRAM with no success - any other ideas before I get a USB wireless dongle would be much appreciated. Thanks Tony
