Hello I have a 2017 MacBook Pro with a failed SSD. Can I replace it with an SSD from a 2013 MacBook air?
Besides techiesteve's reply, I'm serious why you would even consider using an old 2013 technology SSD rather than a nice new one with probably newer and faster technology built-in:
ie: MacBook Pro SSD (Solid-State Drive) Upgrades - OWC
Various choices there if your MBPro qualifies.
Only if the OP has the MBP 13" 2017 non touch bar model, the OWC Aura Pro NT would be an ideal cost effective replacement.
