Finally upgraded to El Capitan from Yosemite last week and am enjoying the split-screen view on my iMac that I use so often at work in Windows. My only complaint is the seemingly pointless "blur" effect that applies to the non-active window when you adjust the horizontal proportion slider. Often I need to see the contents of both windows (for example, with spreadsheets) because I'm trying to proportion things precisely for optimized viewing. Is there any UI option or terminal command that can be executed to remove this unhelpful effect? And, yes, I know I can adjust one window and then click on the other to make it the non-blurring one before adjusting it as well, but my point is that I shouldn't have to do that.
