While I'm currently using my MacBook Pro in it's original state, my best friend uses a Speck to cover his. They both ran within just a few degrees of each other when we did a side by side unscientific test just to satisfy our curiosity. The true advantage of the Speck in my opinion, is that it will tend to reduce the chances of denting the case. It will also provide an extra layer of protection in the event the computer is dropped, which is that scenario would be extremely valuable.</p></blockquote><p></p>
