Well what are you using to boot Windows on your macbook pro.

Have you got the latest Windows XP Service pack?

^^^^^ This is the latest Windows XP service pack^^^^^^^

Install that and im sure any sound problems you are having will be fixed.

Also without knowing what you are using to boot windows xp, i would strongley suggest using parallels, they have most if the drives needed to work Windows smoothly on a Mac... Thus ending your sound problem.

Got latest Windows XP service pack already.

And I guess it just boots itself as nothing else is installed.

Thanks

Well no luck so far....

If I purchased an external sound card as shown above, would I be able to get sound?
