I always thought it was a weird place for an ad.

Don't tell the Admin and Mods this but if you don't like it you can just Block it using numerous tools.

Not a fan of Ads myself, spent too much time watching the BBC

I have the AdBlock Plus extension installed in Firefox, so I never see the ads (worked out well for me, M-F loads much faster now

). Though I haven't gotten around to doing the same for my Mac, it's only installed on my Windows PC

Yeah, I realized it's been there a while. It's because I've been spending a lot of time on another forum that uses the same design as this one without the ad on the side, so when I came back to M-F, it looked different.
