Slow boot up after memory upgrade

Hi there,

I've just upgraded my macbook 2.2 ghz from 1gb of memory to 4 gb from crucial and it's taking much longer to boot up than before... Is this normal???

No, it isn't. Remove the 2 new memory sticks and re-seat them. If the computer continues to act this way, call where you got them and RMA the new sticks. Replace them with the original sticks until you get the replacements.
