Hi all, hope someone can help: I have just signed up to Sky Broadband, and I have no trouble connecting my MacBook to it wirelessly, but I am also trying to connect my older iMac (using OSX 10.3.9) using the Airport Extreme wireless card... and this is where the problems are occurring. The connection on the iMac is very temperamental and drops in and out. Restarting seems to have no effect. I have tried changing the channel on the wireless router and this has not fixed the problem. I've also downloaded the Airport Extreme Driver Update from Apple and this hasn't worked either. I have no concerns about the signal strength from the router, as when the connection is made the Airport icon indicates a full strength signal. If the connection has gone down and I try to connect to my Sky network, I am prompted for the password even though it is stored in a keychain. When I input the password I get a message that there was an error connecting to the network. Again, I know the stored password is correct because of the times that the iMac will connect successfully. I'm totally at a loss with this, as are Sky Tech Support! Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks. Edit: I should add that I'm using the Sky-provided Netgear wireless router if that makes any difference.
