Wow, that looks pretty sweet. However, I think the white is already beautiful, and probably would never buy a skin for it.

If I ever did have a MacBook, and I did put one on, I would cut out a space for the apple logo. That would look pretty cool!

Blowfish looks awesomely awesome. I'd be a bit hesitant about covering my beautiful black beauty up though. Some pics of those skins on the back of a blackbook would be nice.

Scremox,

I'll have to agree with u. Even tho I love the designs on those gelaskins I wouldn't want to cover the Beauty of my Black MacBook. Plus the fact that it cover the Apple logo isn't making it sit to well with me :\

But I still love the designs, Maybe if they had a design that works around the Apple Logo so it looks as if its a part of the Design that would be NEAT, and then I'd consider it more seriously.

It's a sticker and there is no way it will look pretty. There will be bubbles or it will be crooked or something.... And those colors are way too rich to translate nicely to CMYK on a printed surface.

i found this pic from a blog of a user. It's an actual photo of her macbook with the "blowfish" design. Looks decent.

I emailed the manufacturers and asked if they would consider producing them with the apple logo cut-out, they said not in the near future. :\ shame

that actually looks quite smashing on the white macbook. Find any examples for the blackbook?

no not yet, I'll post it here if I find one.

I remember you were asking for a black macbook with the spec case on (in this or another thread?), I have a friend who has it and I'll take a photo and post in on here...

I'm sure it wouldn't be too challenging to cut out the Apple logo yourself. What kind of material is the skin?

I don't know why it took me so long to come upon a clear smoked hard shell for my blackbook ha ha.

from macnn.com:

"
GelaSkins take a unique approach to protecting iPods and laptops. Instead of providing a complete case that totally covers the device, they provide paper-thin (< 2mm) textured vinyl appliqués you stick on to the device. The 3M vinyl is coated with a special adhesive that doesn't leave any marks but stays on nice and tight, which protects the case from scratches and dings. It is also coated with a clear gloss finish to highlight the artwork in the best light."

Here ya go, it looks fine and my friend says he now feels more at ease handling the macbook since he doesn't have to worry about getting grease on it. =)

another thing, you don't see it here but in person I noticed a "rainbow" like effect at the top cover. I'm not sure if it's just on his, maybe others have experience on this?
