Skin

Hey. I was thinking about getting a skin for my macbook pro... (skinit.com). The only issue is that they only offer macbook 13" and powerbook g4 skins... I have a 15" macbook pro. Does anyone know what the dimensions of the g4 are (actual measurement in inches closed)? Thanks!

13.7" x 9.5" x 1.1"

Sizes don't match up even if they did you would probably cover up your iSight

monkey, that's about the same size isn't it? the skins are only for the outside...

14.1" x 9.6" x 1.0" is the macbook pro

.4 inches on the the width, and .1 on the length. Not large differences but I don't know how exact the skins have to be. If its just on the outside then you won't run into issues with the iSight but I'm not sure if it will fit

It's hard to believe they don't make one for the MBP's. They're missing out on a huge market segment! Maybe you should email them and let them know there's a lot of people on this forum alone who would be very interested in getting some of these skins.

I bought this one from Gelaskins and it looks amazing! Can't wait to take my Macbook out into the public eye. Heh.

Well, I went ahead and ordered one... not sure if it will fit or not. I uploaded my own image though (a camoflauge image with my name on it). I'll let everyone know if it fits ok or not.
