Similar games on Mac

My wife is addicted to Freecell and Mahjong that she played on our now defunct PC. Are there any Freecell games that are equivalent to the Microsoft game?

Also, are games at the app store triable before purchase?

Google is your friend here, but I did find this one for starters.

As to App Store, the ones for your iPhone or iPad, then the ones that say GET are free, and the ones you can pay for will have a price on the App. This goes for Apps in the Mac App Store (MAS).
If you look for games for iPhone or iPad, then some developers have LITE versions, and if you like them, then you can pay to upgrade, with a in-app purchase, and that will unlock the full game, and features.

There are tons & tons of these sort of games for the Mac…and have been for years & years. I guess the BIG question is…how similar is similar??

Mahjong is Mahjong…only the tile layouts & tile designs change. And Freecell is basically Solitaire. I would do a search for these games (internet or Mac App Store)…and see what your wife likes best.

Gameplay is essentially the same for these games. It's just the "eye-candy" that changes from version to version.
