I hate when people emphasize a course as being "not related to my major" and therefore imply that it somehow less important. you signed up for the class, so suck it up. and taking courses outside of your major can be useful to you know...like random conversations, or just learning something new. College is about learning and expanding your mind, so expand it to non-western music. im an ACCOUNTING major and im taking a course on BIOMEDICAL ETHICS. clearly in no way involved with my major, and yet it is definitly a valuable course because I have leaerned a TON from it. if you opened your mind and quit whining, you would probably see some value in your class too!
ps: sorry to come off harsh, I am passionate about a well rounded education in college!
oh yeah, and just to show that I can be bitter about college too, im going to ***** about my upcoming week. today is saturday the 30th. i have an exam on sunday, october 1st, an exam on monday october 2nd, exam on wednesday the 4th, exam on thurdsay the 5th, and another exam next sunday, the 8th. so it looks like quite a few sober nights ahead of me.
