So I want to get an older Mac so I can mess around w/ OS 9, as I've never really used it since I became a Mac user(i used the older OS versions in elementary school, and i vaguely remember them). So, I just want a really cheap computer so I can have OS 9.

So I found this site(http://www.shrevesystems.com/cpu.html), and it has some REALLY good deals on older Macs. Does anyone have any experience w/ them? They use PayPal, so i'm assuming that boosts the trust issue. There's also http://www.powermax.com/, but they don't have those older Macs, just mostly old iMacs and Cubes(i want a cube, but not enough money for the Cube and monitor right now).

So, I like the all in one PowerMac G3, the Performa, and the G3 desktop. So what does everyone think about this site? Thanks

I have a friend that bought a old Mac from Shrevesystems and he said they were prompt and were great to deal with. I myself have purchased 2 macs from Powermax, and you can't go wrong there. In my opinion both places are good places to deal with. Scott

I'd say go for the all in one Powermac G3, for $99, its everything you need, its small, and a 233MHz processor could even run OS X (you would need X post Facto though...) and i know you want it for OS 9, but i'm just saying that it'll run OS 9 really well, and you could even expiriment with some Linux distros on it as well!
