Should i register my copy of OSX?

I just recently bought a macbook. should i register my copy of OSX? I'm not quite clear on this so please feel free to wright long essays :D

I didn't know you could register OS X. Only register your computer. Which I recommend you do. As you only get 1 or 3 years of support. If you bought applecare or not. But the catch is this. It runs from the day you get your mac. But you can only have access to it if you register your mac. But that's a really easy preocess.

So in short do register your new mac with apple. And this would cover the system and all of the apple apps and hardware. Here's a link to applecare if your interested. And you can buy it anywahere within the one year of free coverage with your mac you get for free, to extend it to 3 years. But it's up to you if it's worth it or not. Some like it others don't.

But about OS X on it's own I'm not sure.

duh, that just commen sence, if a hacker does some simple things, he can easily steal your genuine copy.

else, why would you not want to register anywayz? if its a legal copy i mean, and it is.

Yes, register it. It will ask you on first boot.
