I cleaned my Mackbook keyboard with a tissue that only needs to be moist and it did the job perfectly, but when I cleaned the back of my laptop (the shiny part with the apple logo) it rubed off the shine in places, kinda like sand paper. Are there any products out there that would shine/polish it back up? It's not affecting performance at all, just esthetics...

There are a couple of things you could try - first is a product called Apple Sauce (designed for Mac) which has 2 bottles, a polisher and a glaze. That might do it. Also, some folks use Brasso to remove scratches. Even though you don't talk about scratches, it might give the back an even shine (or lack thereof) :)

I'd try it on the battery side first, make sure it works to your staisfaction...
