In Front Row, there's an option for Shared Photos, but it always says there are no shared photo albums on the network. Can I get my iMac to share it's photos with my MacBook using this?

Have a look in iPhoto -> Preferences -> Sharing ... this is probably where the ball starts rolling.

Sharing music and videos requires iTunes 6.0.4 or later. Video playback capabilities may vary against network bandwidth.

Great, I'll check that out. I'm using wires everywhere, so bandwidth won't be a problem. I use a Roku SoundBridge for streaming MP3's, and it won't work with higher levels of wireless encryption.
