Try quitting applications or disconnecting devices that are using resources needed for recording.&quot;&nbsp; This may be because I have other FW devices which I use for audio connected....?Next are questions: In the past (10.5.x) when I clicked on a say a Word doc file once I could 'command C&nbsp; 'copy' and then in an email paste and it would simply paste in the name of the file.&nbsp; Now if I do that it wants to attach that Word doc to the email.&nbsp; So I now have to click on the Word doc file twice as if I were going to modify the name, then copy and now I can paste the name into the email without attaching it.&nbsp; This issue becomes a real issue when I want to copy just the names of multiple files into an email (Mail) I can't.&nbsp; I basically have to double click on each file so I can highlight the name and then copy and paste one at a time...big hassle.&nbsp; Any way around that??Next Question:Why when I use 'Rich Text' in Mail that PC users can't open or even get my Word doc files?&nbsp; But when I switch it to 'Plain Text' they can?Thanks</blockquote>
