Setting up iChat on Yosemite

First i want to make sure its still called iChat and how do you find it on a MacBook Pro. I also want to know if I can uses the server settings from a instant messenger like Pidgin

The program is no longer called iChat. Ut's now called Messages. Here's an overview of the setup procedure.
