Setting default location to save screenshots?

I'm using OS XTiger 10.4

Is there anyway to set the default location where screenshots are saved rather than have them all over the desktop?

Found this - looks like it has to be done in the terminal.

iBook 12" G4 (tiger) 24" iMac 2.4Ghz, 1Gb Ram, 320Gb Hard Drive, (leopard)
i tried this not too long ago and it works fine, i just created a folder called screenshots, and now they all just pop into there, saves having a messy desktop.
