My 4th gen 40 gig iPod broke and I have a warranty where they send me a gift card for the original price of the iPod. So anyways, I think Im going to buy a PSP and something smaller for my music. Im either getting the 1gig shuffle or the 1gig nano. I usually put my iPod on shuffle, I dont really want to buy a case to protect the screen of the nano, but I sort of want a display. Can someone sway me towards one or the other? Thanks.

I bought the Nano and love it. Got the White one as the Black shows marks on the case more. I was going to get a shuffle but went with the Nano. I want to be able to see what songs are there and go to one when I want to. The Nano now comes with a little case that will protect it.

For the small increase in price, you get a color display, the ability to playback photos and a beautifully cutely crafted little ipod if you buy a nano. Get it engraved. It's really neat.
