searching by year in itunes library

hi

i seem to be able to search by any field in my itunes 7 library except the 'year' field, which is a visible column in my library. is there a reason for this, as i would like to be able to search by year?

G'day nick harambee, first click on the Year Column to sort your library by year, and then type the year in the search field and it will show all songs in your library which belong in that year.


