If I click on the backup icon at the top of my screen I get "Try backing up again when (Seagate drive name)  is available."  If I try using Disk Utility, which I used to wipe the Seagate, I select the Seagate drive and hit the Restore icon b/c I thought restore would do restore what I just wiped out, ie, copy my main hard drive onto the Seagate. Am I confused? Yes, but where? I thought this is what a vid I saw said to do. (2) I think I tried to upgrade my OS but a message said my 2019 iMac was too old. I'll check on that.
