A couple of days ago my Yahoo Groups page came up corrupted. I was in Firefox (latest version).

Then I opened Yahoo Groups in Safari (5.1.2) it was ok at first but on opening it the following day it too was corrupted.

As a last resort I tried an old version of Camino but alas.. it is also messed up.

All 3 browser windows display the same screwy, misplaced elements. Some overlap (and look like empty white areas) while others are covered so that words below are not visible. They look almost like an html error.

I've emptied cookies from Safari and Firefox but not history. (which I'd like to keep)

All other Yahoo pages, Mail, Finance, etc., are working and display properly.

I'm using a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 iMac with OS 10.6.8. HDD is 2/3 full.

Today I opened Yahoo Groups using Dolphin browser on my iPad (iOS7x) and all is good there. No corrupted window.

I've spent hours searching this site, Google, and other forums without success. Somehow I believe the problem is on the iMac. But where might I begin to look for the solution?

Thanks for any help!

I may never know what the problem was but (so far) the solution has been to subscribe to the Yahoo Group using a new email address.

I apologize if this has been a question not directly related to the OS X Operating System but I thought if perhaps I could remove something in Prefs or ?? that it might clear up.

This site has answered lots of my questions and I appreciate your being here.

Cheers, Bill
