Screen Gamma Changes w/Login

iMac C2D | 2.66 GHz | 2GB RAM | 300GB HDD | OSX 10.6.2
If I am logged into my account, then switch to another account (or the login screen), then switch back my screen gamma brightens. Although it is not dramatically brighter, it is significant when I color correct my photos.

Anyone had this problem?
