Screen blinking

i have a couple of questions:

1) recently i have noticed that everynow and again the screen blinks and the brightness dies alittle, then 2 seconds later brightons back up. Anyone elsohad a smilar problem?

2) what screen brightness do you leave you macbook on?

1) Seems to be a hardware issue: I took my gf's macbook in with the same problem and after they adjusted the display connector everything seems to be fine...

I have the same problem. Hmm.

When I had this issue they replaced the inverter for the backlight.

It came back about three months later, but it was fine for the time being.
