Safari screen scrolling

I noticed in Safari that the 'elevator' at the right to drag the window up and down, scrolling that is, disappears all the time when using only the mouse. If I scroll a tiny bit on the mouse it appears briefly and then disappears. How do you get it to stay visible?

Go into System Preferences and open the General preference pane. Experiment with the Show Scroll Bars setting till you get the behavior you want. If you want them on all the time choose "Always".
