Safari quits abruptly

On several occasions in the last couple of weeks, Safari has simply just shut down while in use. Version 6.1.6 (7537.78.2).


Anyone else have this issue (or solve it)?

Happens to me a couple times/week. Not sure what causes it. I do think that it happens to me more often with certain websites. Probably a stability problem with certain code. I just restart Safari…and drive on.:)

Safari 6.1.6 is an older version. I very much doubt that we are going to see any future updates to improve stability.

That version stayed with Lion OS X.7. Later versions require operating system upgrades.
