Safari freezes on me every time I use it and I have to Force Quit, sometimes 2 or 3 times during a session. Its also quite slow to respond sometimes. Any solution to this?

Safari always used to stay open after I left my Mac and was there when I restarted but now Safari closes of its own will and I have to reopen for each session, which isn't a problem just strange?

Thanks for your suggestion. I have repaired permissions but I am still suffering. Safari is unusable at times, without an awful lot of patience. I have had to Force Quit 6 times to get into the Mac Forum.

You probably have a one or more of the follwing problems:

1. Not enough installed ram.
2. Hard drive may be getting full.
3. Not rebooting the computer enough.
4. Maybe too many apps open at the same time.

First two things to do:

1. Verify that the HD is not too full (more than 80% full).
2. Reboot the computer.

Safari is hanging on this website about 1 in three visits. Just here so far, nowhere else. I just move to Opera to get over it and then try Safari again later. It's a known problem, there are other posts about it.

Thank you.
How do I check ram? Is it easy to upgrade?
Hard Drive is 999GB and I have 369GB available
How often should I Reboot? Last time was 7 days ago.
I never have more than 2 or 3 apps open at any time.

Do you mean ads messing things up?

Not really likely in this case. The OP didn't say she was bombarded with ads, but it COULD be that some ad can't connect to the mother ship and hangs Safari. That's a really long shot.

I am starting to get Safari crashes with an error about Dispatch queue trying to access an invalid address. Don't know if it's related to the hanging I have seen, but this version of Safari is not very stable for me. :(

Safari 8.0.2 needs work Jake. It's been flaky since the last update and has gotten to the point where I'm bouncing back and forth between it and the Chrome 64 bit beta. Let's hope Apple updates it along with the release of 10.10.2.
