This is a licensing question, that I am not too familiar for MacOS...

Is there any licensing requirements for running MacOS Mojave in VMware in Windows?

Mac OS X/OS X/macOS are only licensed for use on Apple hardware. At least that is what the EULA states.

You're going to need to clarify that statement before we answer.

I'm going to assume that you're referring to running Mojave with VMware from a Boot Camp installation of Windows on your Mac?

I'm sure you know that macOS is only licensed for use on a genuine Apple Mac computer.

I have had the same difficulty in understanding the question which could be interpreted as:

Can I run Windows (version not mentioned) on my Mac running macOS Mojave, using VM software? Yes, but details of the version of Windows would be useful.

OR

Can I run macOS Mojave on a Windows computer using VM software? No idea! But it would be illegal under EULA legislation to do so; and I'm sure the Admins/Moderators would discourage any further discussion on that matter.

We need clarification. No offence intended.

Apologies for not be being clear in my question...

Hardware: Custom-built PC
OS: Windows 10 64-bit (1903)
VMware® Workstation 15 Player: 15.0.2 build-10952284
MacOS: Mojave ISO

I've seen Mojave running just fine on a Windows system with VMware player and was curious, if this is legal. Since I have a MBP, there's no "burning desire" to run Mojave in VMware. In my experience with VMware, there's always some glitch with the hardware abstraction layer, especially, when it comes to display.

Come to think of it, the Mojave ISO could also be hacked/rooted since it is a "jail-broken" MacOS. That's the least thing that I'd need.. No, thanks...
