Here's your seller protection, as soon as you get paid, transfer the funds quick, and get them out of your bank account. LOL! HAHAHA

That's so very true.

I've gotten ripped off both ways. But the bad experiences never have outweighed the good.

That's what I'm thinking. iPad has been posted on both sites. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Wish me luck, I feel I'm making a foolish mistake. Again...

I know from your original post that you're selling a 32gig iPad.

According to Apple the 32gig "Wi-Fi" iPad is selling for $599...are you including some additional items to justify asking $750 for it?

iPad - Apple Store (U.S.)

Thanks,

- Nick

Yes, I want to recover from Uncle Sam and future interest charges and or Paypal fees. I'm actually out $647.70. My wife returned the accessories and the Service Plan which put total cost close to $1k. I know I'm gonna get haggled down so I always aim high. If I can get $750 I'll take it. I'm sure If I put my mind to it I can come up with other expenses.

Ok thanks...I wasn't sure if you were including some iPad accessories.

But if I can purchase a 32gig iPad for $599 direct from Apple (unopened) + tax (which would probably bring the final price to somewhere around $650 like you mentioned)...also with free shipping...why would I pay you more than $650 for an opened & used iPad?

In fact...since your iPad is opened & used (and since Apple has free shipping)...I would expect to pay less than $650 for your 32gig iPad.

I'm honestly not trying to give you a hard time...but the math just doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks,

- Nick

i got my pricing from eBay. I want to make a buck too. As I said, if I would have asked for the $650 I'm out? A buyer such as yourself would try and haggle me down. If I start at $750 then there is room for negotiation. I never said $750 firm.

In your original post in this thread you said this:

I see a lot of over priced iPad's from money hungry folk. The other thing is although it is new, I have tried it out so now it's used.

Doesn't asking a higher price than what Apple would charge someone for a brand new 32gig iPad make you one of the "money hungry folk"?

Good luck with your sale. I am not at all interested in haggling on something that there is supply for. I will pay retail for new and get the joy of opening the package myself.

This is exactly what I'm trying to say...thanks "JohnCL" for saying it so well!:)

I can go to the Apple website RIGHT NOW...and order the 32gig iPad for $599 + tax, with free shipping!...bringing the total cost to around $650. There is no supply shortage!!!

It makes ABSOLUTELY no sense to pay someone more than $650 for an opened & slightly used 32gig iPad. In fact...for an opened & slightly used 32gig iPad...we are really talking a price something like $600-$625 (SHIPPED)!

Sorry OP,:(

So, you're the argumentative type... I will try to explain.

I got burned off selling things before and recovered through lawyers. I'm always willing to negotiate. If you want to make an offer, feel free. I am a fair person. However if I have to go through court proceedings again. I'm gonna make it worth my while. It's not about the money or I wouldn't have purchased it. I am just offering someone else the chance to own an iPad. I have no problem letting my kids tear it up. I have no use for it.

I thank you for your interest. I could always return it and get something useful.

The bottom line is...myself or anyone else can go to Apple.com RIGHT NOW and order a brand new 32gig iPad for $599 + tax & free shipping...for a total cost of around $650.

Like I said in my previous post...your slightly used 32gig iPad is worth about $600-$625 (shipped) period! There's ABSOLUTELY no reason anyone should pay you any sort of premium for your opened & slightly used iPad!

You keep mentioning lawyers, court proceedings, getting burned, recovering money...who wants to purchase something from a seller with so much baggage!

Thank you very much...but I'll just purchase directly from Apple!!!:)

Is that an offer? My reserve is less than that.

Goodluck, if I were you. I would try a friends out first. I truly have been trying to find a use for mine. I guess time will tell. My wife thinks I don't really want to sell due to my high asking price.

Good luck Bobby!

If you aren't interested at the $750 price, why argue with him? Just make an offer, and if you're not interested, then don't make an offer.

If you can do that, go ahead and buy from Apple and don't complain, and wreck someone's chances of selling with your pointless bi*ching.
