Hi all,
I'm trying to restoring a TM backup onto my Macbook, I put the Mac OS X cd, and from Utilities menu I choose "Restore System from Backup". After I choose my TM backup now the Macbook is Erasing the Restore Volume "Macintosh HD" but it's taking too long time (I'm waiting from about 1h)! Is it normal?

I divided my HDD in 3 partition
50Gb ext3j Macintosh HD
35Gb FAT32 Windows
65Gb ext3j Data

Please help me!
Thank you

I have the same problem.

"Erasing Restore Volume HD"
Been in that mode for many hours.

First time I waited about 2 hours then I stopped it and manually erased the disk. But it didn't seem to help.

Is this process supposed to take 5+ hours? Even on a clean disk?
