Hi, I recently installed Windows 7 on my mac and I am trying to hook it up to my TV (pannasonic 42" G10) but when I plug in the mini DVI adapter, it changes the resolution of both my laptop (macbook 13" silver one) and the TV to 640x480 and when I try to change it, the other resolutions are greyed out or "not supported" - which I know because my TV can do 1920x1080 resolution. I have tried custom resolutions - it says "Test failed" when I try and test it; Installing new an old drivers didn't make any difference either and neither did using Powerstrip (which on one of the forums someone had said to try).

I need the resolution at 1080p so I can play Bioshock and other games (which is why I installed windows in the first place - if I cannot play games then it is useless).

Please help and thanks for reading!

Marc
