Resale value of MBP 17"

Hello everyone,

I have a MBP 17" and i am trying to find out how much its worth today. Bought it December 2007. Its really top of the line, fully upgraded and it cost it like $4000 (seriously...) then when i bought it. More than 2 years of warranty left.

It has been a desktop laptop and is in mint condition. Any comments from you guys are great.

Judge for yourself how much it's worth by looking at like machines on Craig's list, eBay, local computer sales, etc.

Macs hold their value well as computers go, however, consider also that Apple sells refurbished machines at a good discount. Refurbished machines carry a full Apple warranty.

There says your mac is worth:

$1480 (US $). But their quites are always on the small side though.
