Glims is an extension to Safari. Look at their FAQ to find the uninstaller.

Glims is not adware or malware. It's simply a plug in for Safari (I used it for years), however, it will not install or run in El Capitan. You shouldn't need to uninstall it. If your iMac is sluggish, get rid of all your AV software as it is not needed and will only find Windows junk that is or was probably embedded in emails that you received. The only thing you need is to run Malwarebytes Anti Malware scanning software every so often. (It's free.)

And tell us about your machine so maybe we can advise more memory, more space required on the hard drive etc.

Hi I have run Malwarebytes and it has found the following items that should be removed
OSX.Genieo
/Users/my email address/Library/Application Support/keka
/Applications/Zip Devil.app
/Users/my email address/Library/LaunchAgents/gUpdater.plist
Adware.OperatorMac
Users/myemail address/Library/Applicati...Support/Google/Chrome/Default/chromex
PUP.MegaBackup
/Users/myemail address/Library/Preferences/com.megabackup.MegaBackup.plist
/Users/my email address/Library/Preferen....om.megaBackupAgent.plist

Is it ok to remove them as I am not sure what they are
Many thanks

If Malwarebytes finds it...it's usually ok to remove it.
