Hi all,

I am new to macs, and am currently using them through my school district. This summer I need to make some basic recordings of me reading books in Spanish, and make CDs from the recordings to give to classroom teachers. I have GarageBand; can I use that for this? Or can you recommend something else (free) that would work as well? I already have a mic that cuts down on background noise, just need a program now that will allow me to record and create a CD. Thank you! Your advice will help me so much in my summer project!!

EDIT: If I can use GarageBand, how do I go about doing this? Thanks!

Not free, but is cheap and looks to be pretty nice little app for your use. Has free trial.
